Guide för Windows/Linux datorer

This guide aims to help you boot up a Windows based computer with the Lockero USB. This is slightly more complicated when compared to booting up a Mac due to the large variety of brands and models. We are continuously working to expand the table shown below.

In case your computer is not in the list, please fill in the form below and we will send you an E-Mail once your computer has been added to the list! It is also possible to do a google search for the key combination that applies to your computer.

Requires activation in the BIOS. Start the computer and tap the F2 key continuously until you get to a colorful menu with a list of options. Navigate to the tab with the text "Main" (tap right arrow key once). Navigate down to the row that says "F12 Boot Menu" with the down arrow key. Press Enter and chose Enabled instead of Disabled. Press the F10 key once you're done and chose Save & Exit to finish and reboot. You will now be able to access the boot menu with the F12 key.

Once you’ve plugged in the USB memory and located the key(s) in the list above specific to your computer, start by turning on the computer, then tap the key(s) repeatedly (1-2 times a second or so) until a list of options has shown up on the screen. If this menu doesn’t show up after 5-10 then something has gone wrong and you have to try again or ask for help.
